The Spokane Golf Show, one of the area’s largest golf events of the year, is back for 2010.

The show includes dozens of vendors, courses through the West, vacation destinations that offer golf, suppliers, club retailers and more.

This year, it takes place Feb. 20-21 at the Spokane Convention Center ballrooms.

With the $10 admission (free for kids 12 and under), all visitors receive at least two free rounds of golf. One is a Dominion Meadows and one is at Cascade.

Show guests can have other opportunities to win free rounds at other area courses, especially if they buy their admission tickets online. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

Visitors also receive a free year’s subscription to Golf Digest or six months of Golf World.

Many of the vendors will also offer their own promotions and prizes, such as Circling Raven, which offers a giveaway each day of the show. The winner will receive two rounds, a night’s stay at the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort and Hotel, and a set of clubs from Nike. You must be present to win.

New additions this year include ball fitting from Bridgestone Golf and booths from The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course, and Kitsap Peninsula Golf.

The show will also see the return of custom club fitting from Henry Griffitts, seminars from Qualchan’s Bob Heck, free golf clubs for kids from the PGA, the Toyota Long Putt Contest, a hitting net, and a PGA Clearance area, where proceeds benefit

Another popular contest is the Long Drive, where the winner of this event is eligible to compete at the Seattle Golf Show.
