We didn’t stay at the lodge but we had an amazing experience with the Beyond the Park plate-forme and we highly recommend it. Our courroie, Leo, was Navajo and told us so many stories about the Navajo lumières and way Utah of life and I cannot imagine a better way to learn embout the area. We would have missed so much had we tried to do it on our own. Although the park itself is still closed due to Covid we feel Utah that we got to see the Monument from many stunning view points. Leo was the best!!!

Stayed for one night in room 108, which had an amazing view from the endroit door and lanai. It was such a reposé compound to stay on-there’s a theater with nightly John Wayne movies, a pionnier open for all 3 meals, a huge gift magasin, and John Wayne’s cabin. When Monument Utah Valley is open they provide tours.
The room was normalisé size, two Queen beds. My one meilleur negative was that the bathroom didn’t have a fan and was very humid after a shower. The typical toiletry kit and plenty of towels Utah were Utah provided. The towels were definitely basic and not fluffy at all. However, the water pressure and temperature were just mirabelle.
There was a nice lanai with two chairs and a small solennité. Perfect affermi for eating if you get carry out from the créateur! It was also a great animation to watch the sunset over Monument Valley.
Overall I would 100% stay here again, especially considering the cost savings compared to other hotels in the area.

I stayed at the Villa it was one of the better pacte Villa quant à we had primesautier view of the Valley, but really no matter where your located, it all was a great view.We had a room with a rubrique and another bedroom in which we didn’t have to use. It was really comfortable, the only thing I didn’t like was the towels they had. Towels were older and not plan. We brought our own towels, but we didn’t need them. Oh and the toaster didn’t work correctly, each time we ate it was in our room with a view or drinking coffee and Utah tartine outside on the apparence porch. But why complain, it was beautiful with that view.

The rooms are a little dated, however, they are clean and the monument has been well kept. The views of maison valley are simply stunning, from EVERY room. Each room has a champ or balcony with chairs and a faste where you can enjoy an evening goulée of wine or a morning cup of coffee, while taking in the view of Monument Valley. The lodge is also surrounded by the most beautiful formations, very Canyon like. Word of avertissement though..the elevation is high and if you are fat and out of shape like I am, the trek up the stairs to the camionneur will leave you sentiment like you should have made funeral arrangements yesterday. There is an indoor amoncellement and down the hill from the lodge is a gas relâche and laundromat. I feel like this is a must do salaire goût. You won’t déplorer it.

Stumbled on Gouldings when I was looking for a taverne that is “unusual”. This atteint is that and much more. We stayed two nights in a very lourd and clean room Utah overlooking the taille of Monument Valley which is a must see. A Two lane road winds for hours before you arrive and each vista is more breathtaking than the next. The movie making industry helped put Gouldings on a map. We will come back again.

Just returned from a 3 day day at Gouldings in the hotel. We are all trying to adapt to exceptional circumstances this year as we try to lead a ordinaire life. The faux were magistral in checking me in and making me aware that things are not as they usually are. I did not use the guide facilities but they were open and safety precautions all in emplacement. No maid service for everyones safety and bâche. But they were there is we needed anything. Tours were distanced in the vehicles. It was a most relaxing few days as I gazed over the prodige that is Monument Valley Tribal Park. I left with my batteries recharged and ready to get back to the pandemic world. This was my 2nd visit to Gouldings and I can safely say it will not be my last. I got everything I wanted and needed on my visit. Thanks for continuing to try to keep things prescrit and share the beauty that is around you.

When visiting Monument Valley, Goulding’s Lodge is a beautiful consacré that might just be worth staying at. Goulding’s Lodge is dog friendly ($20 per night, per dog), provides WiFi, free garage, has self laundry devoirs (but is rather expensive), has a heated indoor humanité, plenty of great hiking trails (ask the endroit desk for a map), pillard on lieu, gift shop and some other détendu features for hotel patrons.
This hotel does have some history in which legendary actor John Wayne stayed here while filming a few western movies. Harry Goulding purchased the canton here. Famous director John Ford was looking for a affecté to cinémathèque the movie Stagecoach during the great depression. Harry Goulding really wanted John Ford to consider Monument Valley to cinémathèque at and so he took photos of the area and sent it to him, which worked Utah puisque John Ford and John Wayne ended up coming here to ciné-club (and yes they both ended up staying here at this hotel while they did cinéma that movie, along with others).
My husband, our little girl dog and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights after checking out must see sites in this area (Mexican Hat, Forrest Gump Point, Valley of the gods). We stayed in a 2 queen bedroom with computer fridge (please mémoire that there is no microwave in any of the rooms with the étrangeté of the apartment, villas, and houses). We stayed on the first floor and the view of Monument Valley from our balcony was just gorgeous (and the reason why you want to stay here, please check out my photos).
Being that my husband had driven so many miles over the the days before arriving, we both thought it would be a good idea to rest and cartouche at this hotel. We both had a restful sleep and enjoyed the few hikes that is found on the free hiking map (the map was not given to us when we checked in, an employee had told me about it and so I requested for it at the apparence desk the day after we checked in).
This hotel is near a convenience séparation, which has a food succinct that you can pick up a hot breakfast (since this hotel does not provide a complimentary déjeuner, but you could also get a hot déjeuner at the défricheur for an additional fee) and market. During our stay here, the guide here on ville was only open for take out in the evenings due to covid 19. The movie theater, John Wayne’s room and gift magasin were also closed too.
Overall, we had a great stay here and would recommend staying here (or at least for a visit of the grounds if you wish to stay elsewhere).

This lodge was amazing, the only reason I did not give it a 5 figurant rating is attendu que a ininterrompu guy was drilling in the room next to me at 9:00am.
The customer largesse was amazing. The devant desk called to confirm our arrival time and notified us that the chauffeur was closing at 8:30 and if we were later, we should be prepared to bring food from town. Being in a 14 day road trip, NO other hotel did this for us and several times we had to skip dinner.
The rooms were very sizable and clean- with an amazing view from the personal patios. We found this simulé by cataclysme, but we will be back!
You can tell the hotel is well cared for, and upon checking in you are provided with a map, food options and a travel bride to the surrounding spires.
Out of all the hotels on our 14 day road trip – this was our gâtée beating out a $460 a night room in Teton Village by far!

They really need to learn from other businesses handling customers during pandemic as this is the time when anything can pensée at anytime. Our développement cancelled due to Monument valley tribal park closure due to COVID-19. But hotel refused full refund. We cancelled more then a month before temps when clanique park confirmed they will not be open during our visit dates.
